At Potley Hill Primary School, we strive to support all children to enable them to achieve at school. In order to do this, many steps are taken to support them through their learning journey. High Quality Teaching is vital; however for some children there are occasions when further additional support may be needed to help them to maximise their potential for learning. At this point, children might be identified as having a Special Educational Need (SEN). This will mean that the child receives extra support so that they can make progress in their learning.

We endeavour to provide an inclusive education for all children, the majority of this comes from within the school but sometimes we refer to outside agencies.

Hampshire’s Local Offer, (co-produced with parents, carers and young people), aims to help you find your way through the maze of information to reach the best solutions for you / your child and includes information about education, health, social care, preparation for adulthood, leisure services and impartial information advice and support.
