Pupil Leadership
The School Council meet regularly with Mrs. Smith (PSHE Leader) and consists of representatives from every class across the school who have been voted for by their peers to represent their views.
The purpose of our School Council is to enable pupils from Potley Hill to express their views, have them heard, and make a positive change not only within the school, but also to the wider community. A number of fundraising events have taken place in recent years with the Camberley All Night Cafe and Naomi House & Jacksplace being just two local charities that have benefitted from this fundraising. In addition to this, the School Council have also led and campaigned on issues, including what the names of the 'school teams' would become!
JRSOs
Meet our Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSO): Penny, Poppy, Nichalo and Samuel.
They lead initiatives across the school to ensure that our whole school community is safe on the roads, whether they are walking, cycling, driving or even scooting, together with carrying out surveys of traffic on the school site!
They have led whole school assemblies where pupils were taught about the Green Cross Code. They also encourage children to think about why it is important to cross the road safely, and the consequences of not following the Green Cross Code.
